Peninsula Beverly Hills

I recently took advantage of this unseasonably warm weather (84 degrees today!) by dining al fresco at the Roof Garden on top of the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills.

What a stunning location! The tables are tucked away in an outdoor garden on the fifth floor, adjacent to the hotel’s pool and spa. The lunch menu is rife with flavorful salads and fresh seafood, a testament to The Peninsula’s quest for vibrant, healthy dishes.

To begin, I shared the butter lettuce and mango salad with slices of ruby red grapefruit. My guest had the “dreamy” fish soft tacos which were reported to have plump and tender fish, and an added zing from the mango pico de gallo. I had the Cobb salad which came with delicious roasted chicken, just enough of the traditional toppings and a creamy herb dressing.

Our lunch was only enhanced by a bottle of Sancerre by Jolivet from their wine list. The entire meal was very lovely. If you can’t make it for lunch, the restaurant and bar are open until 9:00pm. Perfect for an early dinner or a sunset cocktail.
