La Mill Coffee Boutique
There’s something exceptional about La Mill Coffee Boutique in Silver Lake. Just like a cup of coffee, it’s both tranquil and stimulating at the same time. The décor is simple yet interesting, just like their food menu which offers creative twists on classic dishes. During my last visit, I had the ABLT, a sumptuous panini with pork belly, arugula and tomato accompanied by preserved cippolinis and Yukon Gold potato chips. The presentation was both thoughtful and fun: my sandwich was served on a petit cutting board and the chips wrapped classically in a cone of parchment paper.
Aside from the delicious food, it’s their extensive drink menu that draws demanding caffeine-addicts to La Mill. They’ve compiled an innovative list of beans and drinks including Liquid Tiramisu—an elaborate espresso concoction accompanied by a chocolate and Grand Marnier crème anglais. To enhance every cup, La Mill uses only the purest filtered water and a unique, organic milk from Straus which was developed to maintain tight, uniform bubbles and add a smooth, creamy texture to coffee.
The attention to detail and dedication to innovation makes La Mill a must-visit. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and your daily buzz.
