As much as I love to dine out, nothing beats a home-cooked meal. It saddens me to hear that some people have no time to cook, or simply don't know how. I believe that cooking should be a stimulating activity, with of course, the added benefit of a wonderful reward at the end. If entertaining—or even making dinner for yourself—is a daunting task, take a hint from Curtis Stone’s new book, Relaxed Cooking with Curtis Stone. The Aussie-born chef is notorious for his laid back approach to life, and well...cooking. Stone’s newest cookbook features chapters on everything from “morning bites” to “something to eat on the sofa.” He even includes a chapter on “brunch that will blow their minds,” featuring his Lazy Asparagus Omelet and homemade waffles with apples and ice cream. My personal favorite is the “crowd pleasers” chapter. Whether you’re an overworked professional or an overworked mom Relaxed Cooking with Curtis Stone will be a welcome addition to your kitchen.
