New Yorkers certainly are a proud bunch. And, with very good reason, of course. The Institute of Culinary Education is here to remind us why with their Made Here: New York State Wines and Cheeses – a course offered on October 4th. Join Richard Vayda for a discussion, tasting and pairing of wines and cheese from the Empire State. Yes, world class wine and cheese is made in New York. Wines will include sparkling, whites, rosés and a few big reds from Long Island to Native American varietals and sweet wines from the Finger Lakes. There will be an equally diverse selection of cheeses to impress your palate. The class runs from 7 PM to 9 PM on Sunday, October 4th and reservations can be made by calling 888-958-CHEF.
