Japan Day 8

Friday, I toured Suntory’s Omi Aging Cellar, and got to taste a few of their reserve whiskies. They were absolutely magnificent. I spent the weekend in Kyoto where I caught up on some much needed rest and did some self-guided sightseeing. I was glad to have brought my Michelin guide with me; it had a few great suggestions of temples and gardens to visit. Quite rejuvenating. Now, we’re back on the fast track. We took the bullet train back to Tokyo yesterday and today starts another round of tastings and tours.
