Soda pop miniatures
As the new year begins, many of us have made serious resolutions and have a refreshed focus on health and happiness. And with that, an American classic is going low-calorie without the use of artificial sweeteners. Coco-Cola announced recently that they will bring miniaturized cans of their classic beverage to New York and D.C. this winter, to help soft drink consumers balance their sugary intake. In contrast to the familiar 12 ounce standard size, the new 7.5 ounce can will slake your thirst without loading you up with excess calories. Prominently displaying their calorie count on the can—a mere 90—the new size will be sold both individually, as well as in packs of eight. And diet-conscious consumers outside of the New York region shouldn’t worry—the cans will be available across the nation in March 2010.
