When’s the last time you ate at the PALM?
Well, it’s as great as ever. In the ultimate steakhouse atmosphere, we started with great Caesar salad and chopped tomato with Roquefort dressing. Then a huge order of “half and half”– half fried onion strings and half crisp, homemade potato chips. Then the main event arrived - gorgeous four-pound Nova Scotia lobsters with drawn butter. Split between two diners, these behemoths of the sea were tender and incredibly fresh – being flown in daily. Oh, and perfectly grilled ribeye steaks are tender and bursting with flavor. Accompaniments were cheesy creamed spinach, broccoli and sautéed corn. Service is friendly and helpful. The PALM’s wine list is good – filled with appropriately “big” wines. And right now the lobster dinner for two is on special at $89. THE PALM on Santa Monica Boulevard. Soooo good!
