It’s that time of year when it is nearly impossible to step out your back door circa dinnertime and not smell sweet aromas of sizzling steaks. Here are a few tips for making sure the neighbors envy the smells coming from your backyard. In preparation, oil the steak lightly on both sides to prevent sticking, and place them on a hot grill over direct heat. Turn the steak only once and finish grilling. Only use tongs or spatulas to turn roast and steaks. Forks or other pronged silverware pierce the meat, releasing the juices and drying things out. Remember to take the steak off the grill a few minutes before it is done to your liking, as the steak continues to cook even after removing it from the grill. Let it rest for fifteen minutes. Sizzle away!
