The Best Burgers in L.A. and N.Y.
The Daily Meal recently underwent a search for the country’s best burgers; their study taking into account the opinions of respected food critics, burger experts, and eight-time James Beard Award Winner Colman Andrews.
In the end, one burger from Los Angeles seized a coveted spot among the Top 40 Best Burgers in America. The Father’s Office Burger from Father’s Office landed at number 16 in the United States. The judges all agreed that the Father’s Office Burger is incredibly juicy, fresh, irresistible, and one of the nation’s best. Father’s Office has two locations, one on Helms Avenue in Los Angeles and another in Santa Monica on Montana.
New York City came home with seven of the Top 40 Burgers in the country, including three spots in the top 5. The Bacon Cheese Burger from the Little Owl on the corner of Bedford and Grove landed at number 5. The Chargrilled Burger from the Spotted Pig on Greenwich Street won the bronze medal just behind the Black Label Burger from Minetta Tavern on Macdougal Street.
So the next time you find yourself on either of the coasts, craving a juicy burger, head over to Father’s Office on the West or The Little Owl, The Spotted Pig, and Minetta Tavern on the East for the best burgers in the country.
