Craft Ice Cream
Summer is behind us, but ice cream is year round. High Road ice cream is worth trying. The crème brulée-inspired Bourbon Burnt Sugar is sweet and has notes of caramel. Fragrant and refreshing, the Pistachio Honey Ricotta is made with a unique medley of pistachio paste, wildflower honey and sugared ricotta. The Chocolate Noir isn’t as rich as perhaps chocolate lovers may like, but a chocolate ganache strip is ribboned through the pint, adding some richness. My favorite is the Vanilla Fleur de Sel. Resembling a French-style custard, it fuses Madagascar bourbon vanilla with in-house barrel-aged vanilla, and pairs nicely with a bowl of berries.
