The Grill on The Alley - Beverly Hills
When it comes to institutions in this town, The Grill on The Alley is at the top of the list. But there’s nothing old or tired about this power spot in Beverly Hills. The menu may not be terrifically innovative, but the food is consistent and always excellent. Start with one of the large, well-made cocktails, and then settle into fresh oysters, tuna sashimi or the wonderful crab cake. There’s also perfectly cooked soft shelled crabs – either as an appetizer or a main course. Salads are fresh and large and there’s wonderful Chilean sea bass. Then there’s the Dover sole – the best serving of this exquisite fish in town. Steaks and chops are superb here – well-aged meat, perfectly cooked. Service is courtly and old world and the ambiance is like a private club. THE GRILL ON THE ALLEY – one of LA’s best!
