Smoked Salmon Canapés
With the holidays fast approaching, my wife and I are starting to plan the perfect menu for our loved ones. Here is one of our favorite quick and easy recipe. Smoked salmon canapés are a very elegant crowd favorite, but they’re also simple enough to make in less than 20 minutes. You’ll need:
- 8 ounces of Cream Cheese
- 8 ounces of Smoked Salmon
- 1 teaspoon of Freshly Cut Dill or 1/4th Teaspoon of Dried Dill Weed
- 24 Mini Cocktail Rye Bread Slices
Combine cream cheese and dill in a small bowl. Blend the two, finely for consistency. After everything is evenly mixed, go ahead and spread a generous dollop onto the mini cocktail rye bread slices. Top it off will a piece of smoked salmon and for or that extra touch, garnish with a dill sprig. Enjoy this stress-free appetizer for the oftentimes stress-filled holiday season.
