Sweet Potato Chips
A month into the New Year and being good is getting harder. When the temptation is too strong, make some homemade sweet potato chips. Sweet potatoes are an excellent source of vitamin B6, iron, magnesium, and potassium, so you can snack without the guilt. To make you’ll need:
- 2 Medium Sweet Potatoes
- Olive Oil
- Coarse Sea Salt
Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees and thinly slice your sweet potatoes. Try to keep your chips thin and uniform in thickness so that they crisp well and cook evenly. Toss with small drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
Spread your sweet potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake until lightly browned and crisp, flipping them halfway through. Enjoy as is or spruce it up with some parmesan cheese or cinnamon if you’re feeling sweet.
Let them rest and crisp up before serving. Happy snacking!
