Herbed Oven-baked Sea Bass
A simple summer fish. If you're looking for a light fish recipe this summer, try this herbed oven-baked seabass. You'll need:
- 1 pound Filet of Sea Bass
- 3 minced Garlic Cloves
- 1/2 tablespoon of Diced Thyme
- 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 1/2 tablespoon of Parsley
- 1 teaspoon of Chili Flakes
- Lemon Slices
First, preheat your oven to 450 degrees. In a large shallow baking dish, mix together the garlic cloves, diced thyme, olive oil, salt and pepper. Add in a teaspoon of chili flakes for optional heat. Place a 1 pound filet of sea bass, scaled and cleaned, into the mixture and coat thoroughly. Cook uncovered for 15 minutes, then sprinkle with parsley before baking for another 5 minutes. When finished, transfer to a serving dish and pour the remaining liquid over the fish.
Garnish with a couple lemon slices and you're done! This recipe makes 2 servings.
