Dijon Brown Butter Steak
Steak at its best. I love discovering new ways to shake up my food favorites. I recently changed up my standard steak seasoning, and, I have to say, blew it out of the park.
It all begins with a Dijon and brown sugar marinade. Now personally, I think that it works best with ribeye steak, but you can use your favorite cut. The marinade need:
- 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons of Brown Sugar
- Drizzle of olive oil
- Splash of Soy Sauce
- Salt and Pepper
Let the steak marinate for four hours before cooking or grilling, and be sure to let the meat sit for a few minutes before digging in. The sweet and tangy flavors of mustard and brown sugar pair terrifically with late summer produce; I recommend roasted potatoes and a fresh apple salad.
