Peaches make more than pie! Make these Peach Crumble Bars for a nice summer snack.
- 6-7 peaches
- 3 ½ cups of Flour
- 2 cups of Sugar
- 1 teaspoon of Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoon of Salt
- ½ teaspoon of ground Cinnamin
- 1 cup of melted Unsalted Butter
- 1 Egg
Grease a 9 by 13 baking pan, and preheat the oven to 375.
For the crumble, mix 3 cups of flour, 1 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and ¼ teaspoon of salt with 1 cup of melted unsalted butter and 1 beaten egg. Don't mix it into a dough, this is a crumble. Spread half the crumble mixture into the baking pan. For the filling, peel and dice peaches into a large bowl. Add in ½ cup of flour, 1 cup of sugar, ¼ teaspoon of salt, and a ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Mix thoroughly. Add the filling into the baking pan and then top off with the remaining crumble mixture.
Bake in the oven for 45 minutes and cut into squares before serving.
