Breakfast Protein Box
It’s Better Breakfast Month! Kick-start back to school this year by prepping these grab-and-go, nutritious breakfast boxes.
Start with reusable containers. Ziplock bags work great if your container isn’t already sectioned off. For the first section, fill with fruit. Grapes, apple slices, or anything in season and easy to pack will work. Fill the next area with protein. A hard-boiled egg is my usual go-to. Section 3 is for grains. Rye bread, toast, or a small croissant all work well. The last section is my favorite. A small cup of hummus, peanut butter, or jam rounds the box out and adds a nice salty or sweet touch.
Change up what you put in each box every day and make ahead of time to last throughout the week.
