I am suggesting at least one featured spirit for each cocktail. These choices are based on my objective evaluation and are not paid advertisements. Enjoy!

Anthony Dias Blue

Canadian Club Reserve Manhattan

Pre-barrel blending then aging for a full 10 years in small oak barrels gives this spirit from the north a dark amber color. It's smooth and rich with spice and toasty caramel; dry and spicy with sweet oak and mellow balance.

1 part Canadian Club Reserve whisky
1/3 part sweet vermouth
Dash Angostura bitters
Maraschino cherry

Pour whisky, vermouth and bitters over ice into a strainer. Shake vigorously until your hand feels frozen and your arm needs Tommy John surgery. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with the cherry.
